Oh my goodness – Kaitlin Miller was a godsend to us as we purchased our house in Camarillo.
The first thing we noted in working with her was her honesty. She told us of both the pros, and more importantly, the cons of houses we toured, in an earnest effort to keep our best interest at heart. She alerted us to things like Mello-Roos fees, income-capped property values, and rougher areas nearby, that we would have been oblivious to otherwise.
We were living out of state when searching for a house, and had two days in California to look. As such, she worked with us remotely for weeks to refine our search, and developed an efficient plan for touring from sun-up to sun-down those two days. She even had booklets printed for us with housing specs. She entertained our quest as it extended from Thousand Oaks all the way to Ojai, and patiently allowed us space to determine what we really wanted.
During negotiations, she was forever on our side, playing hard ball to get us the best price she possibly could. Never once did we feel she would settle for a higher price in order to pad her commission. She was Johnny-on-the-spot with all paperwork during the offer/counter offer phase, delivering documents with punctuality and professionalism. What’s more, she was gracious and thorough in explaining all phases of the buying process to two people who don’t speak real estate.
Buying a house is scary, but Kaitlin Miller made the process as smooth and painless as possible. She became more than a realtor, but also a friend. I could not recommend her more highly!
